It was another very nice day. We went paddling in Nikko Bay.

Continuing from yesterday, today is also the Nikko Bay course. This is because the tide level is quite low this time of year, so many other courses are closed on many days.

Nevertheless, Nikko Bay is one of the best kayaking courses. The wind is less likely to blow and the fast tides are less frequent, making this the best place to enjoy the sport of paddling.

Today we decided to snorkel a short distance from the harbor for a quick snorkel time. Generally, as the tide drops, the clarity of the water tends to deteriorate, which is why we want visitors to enjoy the underwater world of Nikko Bay while the water is still clean.

The ocean tones are truly beautiful, changing from place to place in Nikko Bay. I personally believe that Nikko Bay’s personal color is green. The green of the jungle, the beautiful emerald green of the shallows, the pale green surface of the water in the caves, and so on.

The scenery is beautiful, but once you enter the cove, you are in a healing space with no artificial sounds. The chirping of wild birds, the sound of the wind rustling the trees, the quiet flow of the water as the tide drops, and the various voices of nature can be heard if one listens carefully.

Emerald Cave is beautiful when the sun shines through. The cave is surprisingly deep, and visitors can enjoy jumping from the top of the cave, making it a fun spot.

Break time in the ocean off the kayak. Kayaking for a long time causes fatigue in various parts of the body. So, swimming and stretching out once in a while can be a very reasonable exercise. It’s fun to see the ocean, cool down, stretch out, and all that good stuff.

The tide level begins to drop and the distance from the coral gradually becomes closer. At times like this, it is recommended to paddle along the rock island at low tide, as there will be space at the bottom of the rock island and you can pass through the shade. And the tiny island changes to look like the pretty mushrooms in the guidebook.

We had a little time to enjoy snorkeling before returning to the port. The weather was fine from start to finish, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful nature that is typical of Palau.
